Calcium
Calcium is an ion that acts as an electrolyte. Calcium comes from our diet, and is required for a range of things, including bone production and strengthening, proper nerve function, and muscle function. In Voolast Flush, calcium is included in a salt form with ascorbate, called calcium ascorbate. When in fluid, these salts dissolve into calcium and ascorbate ions. Calcium intake needs to keep up with or exceed calcium loss in the urine in order to maintain proper bone mineralization and hydration.
Citric Acid

D-Mannose
D-Mannose is a type of carbohydrate that occurs naturally in small quantities in many fruits and vegetables including apples, peaches, green beans, and broccoli. D-Mannose is an important part of human metabolism and urinary health. It has been shown to bind to microorganisms and flushes them from the urinary tract.
Magnesium
Magnesium is another essential nutrient lost during urination. It is required for hundreds of functions in the body, including the creation of DNA. The magnesium in Voolast Flush is in the form of magnesium ascorbate (the magnesium salt of Vitamin C) and magnesium carbonate (the salt of magnesium and carbonate, which is used to carbonate water).
Potassium Citrate
Citrate is the salt form of citric acid. In Voolast Flush, we have potassium citrate. When mixed in water, potassium citrate dissolves into potassium and citrate ions. Potassium citrate has an alkalizing effect on the urine, meaning it makes the urine less acidic. Potassium ions are required for proper hydration and replace the potassium lost during urination.
Vitamin B6
Vitamin B6 refers to a group of compounds that enable proper protein, carbohydrate, and fat metabolism. The form of Vitamin B in Voolast Flush is called pyridoxine hydrochloride. Pyridoxine is found in many common plant foods like pistachios and cacao. Vitamin B6 is an essential nutrient, meaning that people need to obtain it from the diet to live. Vitamin C (non-acidic)
The form of Vitamin C found in Voolast Flush is called ascorbate. Ascorbate is the non-acidic salt of ascorbic acid. Can I drink more than one packet of Flush a day?
Yes, many of our customers drink Flush daily. To be extra safe, we recommend you don’t exceed taking more than 3 individual packets per day.
We do not recommend drinking Flush while on antibiotics because Flush contains potassium and it may be important to limit potassium intake while on some antibiotics. You should begin Flush as soon as you have completed your antibiotics. Keep in mind, Voolast’s products are not a treatment.
Can I drink more than one packet of Flush a day?
Yes, to stay safe, we recommend not exceeding three individual packets per day.

How many carbs are in one serving of Voolast Flush?
There are 3 grams of carbohydrate in one serving of Flush.
D-mannose is a key ingredient in Flush and is classified as a carbohydrate. Flush contains 2 grams of D-mannose. However, because the body uses only minimal amounts of D-mannose, it should not interfere with normal, healthy blood sugar regulation.
When should I drink Flush?
Mix one packet of Flush with 8–12 oz of water and drink it after sex, or at least once every three days. Even if you’re not sexually active, Flush is beneficial for regularly flushing the urinary tract.

Black Pepper Powder
Piperine is the “active” compound in black pepper. Oddly enough, Piperine can increase the bioavailability of curcumin by 2,000%! Green Tea Leaf Extract
This extract is mostly (95%) made up of micronutrients in green tea leaves called catechins, like EGCG and EGC. These have been the subject of much research on various health benefits and have antioxidant properties. Along with curcumin, catechins have been shown to cleanse biofilm in preliminary laboratory research. The green tea extract in Voolast Defend is from the leaves of green tea plants.
Turmeric Root Extract
Turmeric Root Extract (95% Curcuminoids) is the “active” compound in turmeric, a flowering plant commonly used as a spice that is a member of the ginger family. Turmeric Root Extract gives Voolast Defend its yellowish color. Biofilm can build-up in the urinary tract and turmeric root extract (along with the polyphenols from green tea) has been shown to cleanse biofilm in preliminary laboratory research. The curcumin in Voolast Defend is extracted from the turmeric root.
We recommend talking with your physician if you’re pregnant, nursing, take blood thinners or have a history of liver or gallbladder issues. If you take blood thinners, curcumin, an ingredient in Defend, may cause additional blood thinning. Stop use and see your physician if you develop symptoms of liver problems, such as fatigue, jaundice, and dark urine.

Does Voolast have caffeine in it?
Green tea leaf extract is an ingredient in Defend, but the caffeine is removed during the extraction process, leaving only a small amount. This small amount is unlikely to have a stimulating effect, but individuals who are highly sensitive to caffeine may prefer to take Defend earlier in the day.

Is it vegan?
Voolast Defend is not vegan because the vitamin D is sourced from sheep's wool. We chose this source because it is the same version used in clinical research, and we wanted to ensure the maximum efficacy. We apologize for how this may affect our vegan customers.
What if I'm already taking Vitamin D?
The recommended daily upper limit for vitamin D is 4000 IU. Most vitamin D supplements have <2000 IU, and Voolast Defend now includes 1500 IU. So, most people should be in the clear, but if you are currently taking other vitamin D sources be sure to check the volume. We've included that amount to be close to the clinical research amounts but not have a full 2000 IU in case people are supplementing with vitamin D that goes up to 2000 IU to stay at a lower dosage of 3,500 per day.
